upreme Patriarch Sangwol Wongak told us that putting up with sleeping and making great efforts and devoting yourselves staying up all through the night is truly right Buddhism. You must offer Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva prayers with unchanged faith.

You must believe that clean mind is accomplished and you can make sure to accomplish Buddhism by making an incantation of Avalokitesvara. And you must do it everyday without missing one day anywhere. When making an incantation of Avalokitesvara, you must take heart and do it closely and continuously. When you pray, you must sit positioning yourself upright. When you sit, you must sit cross-legged or do with your legs half-crossed straightening your back. When your back is bowed, you get to lose your consciousness and be easily sleepy. For your hands, relax them, clench your fist lightly, and put them on your knees.

For your eyes, close your eyes gently or look at the front 2m away from yourself dimly. Praying includes your desperate heart to try to fulfill your wishes and doing as Buddha's students. Because it includes your will to attain Buddhahood, you first pray with all your heart before starting making an incantation of Avalokitesvara. Start making an incantation of Avalokitesvara loudly after praying.

It's because you can accomplish one mind calming down the restless mind. When you breathe, do deep and long breathing so that you cannot lose concentration. When you concentrate on your sounds making an incantation of Avalokitesvara and reform yourself whenever your nerves are shattered, Clean one mind is created and you can find smooth enlightenment through this.

Supreme Patriarch Sangwol Wongak presented 4 stages of making an incantation of Avalokitesvara.

First, it's the stage to observe sounds of calling him externally.
Second, it's the stage to concentrate on internal sounds of calling him.
Third, it's the stage to concentrate on my true sounds from my innermost side.

Fourth, it's the stage that you finally have the optimal mind state as the sounds of calling him disappear. This last stage is the state of absorption that you can reach by making an incantation of Avalokitesvara of one clean mind. The ultimate purpose that Supreme Patriarch Sangwol Wongak made you make an incantation of Avalokitesvara was to make you find enlightenment by clearing your mind when chanting Buddhist prayers.
