Bundang Daegwangsa

Combining traditional beauty and modern sophistication within the Seongnam city center lies the famous Bulgok Mountain and Daegwangsa.

Historically known as SeongDeok Mountain, it is said to be a sacred and spiritual place. According to old records it has been known as Buddha Valley. In 1992 Cheontae Order’s Second Great Monk declared that this was the location that would be the place to globalize Buddhism and become a refuge for all sentient beings.

Daegwangsa, a branch from the main Cheontae Order headquarters Guinsa, is always open for Buddhists to visit and practice the teachings of Buddha that through focused devotion and prayer anyone can become a Buddha.
